Our Committee

Pierre Robin Australia is a volunteer organisation governed by a committee of management.

Our dedicated committee members bring a wealth of knowledge, experience and passion to our organisation.

As parents, grandparents, carers, teachers and professionals, our committee members have all been touched by someone living with Pierre Robin Sequence/Syndrome and recognise that more needs to be done to assist those in need of support.

A word from the President...

One thing that truly inspires me is the love between a parent and their child. As a parent of a child with a special condition, I know how hard one must fight, sacrifice and hope for, so that our children will have a future which is bright, plentiful and pain free.

We frequently hear stories from the media of orphaned, neglected and abused children all over the world that no one can or will support. This will not be the fate of families or children living with Pierre Robin Sequence or its associated conditions in Australia.

If we can all muster even half the amount of will and courage shown by our very special children, than we as their parents have an obligation to nurture their development in every way possible.

A wise man once said to me that “our children are only on loan”.
